The Dragino LWL02 LoRaWAN Water Leak Sensor is a high-performing, industrial-grade device designed to detect and monitor water leaks in many commercial environments accurately. When there is water between its two metal probes, the LWL02 remote water leak detector indicates a water leak event.
The LWL02 water leak detection device is powered by 2 x AAA batteries and can provide 2-10 years of battery life (depending on the transmission rate). Batteries can easily be replaced when needed. Equipped with LoRaWAN wireless transmission technology, the sensor offers long-range, low-power communication and excellent interference resistance, ensuring continuous and reliable detection in hard-to-reach and high-risk areas such as pipes, tanks, and large-scale facilities.
The LWL02 sensor deploys water leak detection systems by periodically sending data daily in addition to individual water leak events. It also counts the water leak times and calculates the last water leak duration. Its design makes it suitable for commercial environments and ensures longevity and durability.
